When you walk into the house, the whole back wall is filled with beautiful views of the lake. To keep the focus on the views, we took down partial walls that were surrounding the kitchen and made an open-concept front entry, where you can immediately see the kitchen, family room, dining room, and reading nook that are enriched by the views behind them.

In 2021, we completed a remodel for this family by opening the kitchen to the dining room, allowing both spaces to communicate and function together. We also updated the family room fireplace and reoriented that room so that the kitchen and family room felt like a combined space.
Alair Milwaukee | Wauwatosa Eclectic Addition
This family loved their cape cod home, but they wanted a fresh space to host and relax in. Their existing family room faced west, and didn’t get a lot of natural night due to trees and other houses blocking the sunset. They had a large backyard, so an addition would leave them with more square footage in their home and a decent sized backyard where they could still grill, garden, and hang out with ease.

Our clients wanted bright, fresh, and crisp. The custom cabinetry is balanced perfectly with the white quartzite countertops and white oak ceiling. The peninsula was replaced with an island which created a natural flow where the family of 5 can cook and spend time with one another.
