Shoulder Pain Relief
I know you can FEEL the neck knots just by reading the words “neck knots”, so trust me when I say you need to do these two exercises. When you sit for long periods of time you likely are in a slouched position for at least some (let’s be real, most) of it. This positioning (forward shoulders/head and a rounded upper back) leads to tight pecks and lengthened/weakened upper back muscles. 👉🏼Shoulder dislocates are going to open up your pecs and outwardly rotate your shoulders to counteract your forward leaning/inward rotation 👉🏼Banded pull aparts are going to strengthen your back muscles & ‘wake them up’ so they help to participate in bettering your posture #backpainrelief #shoulderbladepain #shoulderbladeknots #neckpainrelief #posturecorrection #postureexercises

SHOULDER STABILITY AND MOBILITY
Kettle Arm Bars are a great prehab exercise as it works to improve the range of motion (mobility) of your shoulder and spine while also increasing both strength & stability of your shoulder. This is an exercise that should be done with NO weight until you’re comfortable with the movement and then VERY LIGHT weight until you build up your strength. TIPS: ➰ core engagement is KEY to protecting your spine through this movement, however, this is a rotational exercise and not a crunching exercise
Dead Bugs for LOW BACK PAIN
Allowing movement in your spine during your dead bugs defeats the purpose! They’re meant to train your core to hold your spine stable through the movement. Can’t do them without arching? Modify! If I had a dollar for every time I’ve been down the rabbit hole of looking at old pictures and videos of myself….
