Dough Ingredients: - 500g bread flour @kingarthurbaking - 400g Water (80%) - 100g Sourdough levain (or 5g instant yeast 1%) - 15g Extra Virgin Olive Oil @garciadelacruzoliveyou - 10g Salt - One tsp of dry herbs. (optional) Tips: - You can use bread flour for a chewy bite or pizza flour for a lighter crumb. - Use olive oil generously for drizzling on top. This adds flavor and helps achieve a golden crust. - Allow the dough to rise slowly in the refrigerator for depth of flavor. Overnight refrigeration is ideal. -Important 👉🏻 This is a high-hydration dough, so don’t be shy about using flour to divide and shape the balls. Otherwise, it could be a sticky mess. - P

Delicious, simple and heaps of fun! - 250g self-raising flour - Pinch of salt - 200g Greek yoghurt - Mozzarella cheese Garlic butter - 100g unsalted butter, melted - 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped - 1 spring onion, finely chopped Mix self-raising flour, salt and greek yoghurt in a bowl with a spoon. When the mixture starts to come together, turn onto your work bench and knead until smooth. Place the dough back into the mixing bowl and cover with a tea towel. Rest for 20 minutes at room temperature. Whilst the dough is resting make the garlic butter by combining all of the ingredients. Divide the dough into 4 portions. Working with one portion, use your hands to roll into a ball then shape into a cup by pressing with your fingers. Grab a handful of mozzarella cheese and stuff into the centre of the dough. Fold the edges over and pinch to seal in the cheese. Dust your bench with a little flour then roll out the ball into a flatbread. Repeat with the remaining portions of dough. Heat a little oil in a non-stick pan over medium - high heat then cook the naan for about 1 - 2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Once cooked, transfer to a plate and immediately brush over the garlic butter. Season with a little salt. #garlicnaan #cheesenaan #flatbread #garlicbutter #naan | Brendan Pang

392K views · 9.7K reactions | How to make Pita Bread | Pita Bread just taste so much better when you make your own from scratch. These Pitas form a pocket which are perfect for stuffing with your favorite... | By Kitchentool | Pita. Pita, I'm going to show you how to make an easy homemade pita bread using only a few ingredients and a couple steps of course. So let me show you how. In a large bowl you need to add one cup of warm water. Next add active dry yeast. 2 teaspoons. Just sprinkle it on. Then you're going to add two teaspoons of sugar. Now you just need to allow your yeast, sugar, water mixture to sit and bloom for about five to 10 minutes. It'll be kind of foamy. And after five minutes you can see that the yeast mixture got all active and foamy. Now you need to add in two teaspoons of salt. Now, you're going to mix in three cups of all-purpose flour with a wooden spoon. And just get it all mixed up. It's going to be like a shaggy texture. You'll see. See how it looks like that? That's normal. Now you need to add in two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. And now you use your hands and knead it all together. And just mix it all up until it's all combined. And after a few minutes of mixing, this is how it looks. Now you just need to keep it in the bowl and then cover it with a kitchen towel or some plastic. Now allow it to rest for one hour in a dark place. I'm just going to put it in the oven. And after an hour this is how it looks. It's doubled in size. Now you need to form your pitas. So you want to slightly flour your work surface. And just add onto the counter. Just that. And then you just want to make eight pieces And then you just form it into a ball. And then have a little extra flour on hand. And then just flatten it out as good as you can. Just like that. And just keep doing this with all of your pieces of dough. Roll them out if you want. And once all your dough is rolled out, you want to get a cast iron skillet and heat it on a medium high heat. An easy way to see if your pan's hot enough is to simply put a drop of water and it quickly sizzles away like that. That means it's ready. So now you want to go ahead and put just a little bit of olive oil and just wipe it out. Now, take a pita bread and put it in there and cook it for about 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, you want to flip it and cook it for about another 45 seconds and after 45 more seconds, flip it over one more time. For about 30 more seconds and press it down to help it puff up. See? And then you can toss it over a couple times just to get it to the brownness and doneness you like and then just put it a board or something and you want to cover it up with a towel. And just keep doing this with all your dough. After frying up all your dough this is how it looks. And there you have it. Homemade.
