🌟Artist Words of Wisdom🌟 I grew up with the understanding that being an artist was not a 'real job'. I now know this is not true. Art brings joy and escape and helps us share stories and emotion. There is great value to our mental health in surrounding ourselves with things that we connect with and that bring us joy and I no longer undervalue this. I can now proudly say 'Art is my real job'!

💫 IT OK TO MAKE UGLY STUFF 💫 I know I know.. seems wrong for an artist to say right? (and btw I do NOT think this image is ugly..its on of my faves)... BUT I have made many an ugly thing.. and .. though it can be frustrating at the time and feel like its valuable time wasted I have learned over the years its often from these ugly pieces the beautiful ones grow.. .. its all part of the process... same is true with life.. am I right?
