This 1950’s home has been transformed into a contemporary and inviting space, pairing AyA’s Winsett Crema and Manhattan Rye Walnut doors. This kitchen is also full of thoughtful details: light switches integrated into the upper cabinets to avoid interruption along the sleek quartz backsplash, an LED underlit floating shelf and a hutch with glass insert crema doors, glass shelving and a walnut back. WARM & LUMINOUS KITCHEN

Nestled in the trees near the North Saskatchewan River, this unique home in AyA’s Manhattan Door in rich Rye Walnut to compliment the contemporary architecture of the space. The walnut is a perfect way to soften the concrete floors and countertops. The free-standing range hood, finished in Concrete Deco Board balances the ten-and-a-half-foot island. Open shelving, also finished in Rye Walnut, adds to the modern feel, and complements the clean lines of the slab door and range hood.

A fresh, understated, and sleek kitchen in AyA’s Willis Wintergreen door with accents of champagne bronze hardware. White countertops, pot-filler and handcrafted tile with a pear finish backsplash exudes a quiet luxury. The kitchen is fully equipped with rollouts, pull-out drawers, recycling centre and an appliance lift-up to hide small appliances. They were also able to incorporate open cabinetry to display books and a well curated collection of tea pots from their travels.

WARM & BOLD KITCHEN

The goal was to create a modern and inviting space filled with clean lines and refined details. Kensington Oyster accents around the stove including a custom 5ft wide range hood keeps the space light and airy. The combination of white, black and natural wood finishes works in tandem to achieve a warm and interesting composition with dimension. Central and grounding the space is a large island white quartz countertop spanning over 10ft. tops off AyA’s Pitch Black cabinetry for contrast.

This open contemporary kitchen with a lovely combination of doors styles and finishes in AyA's Willis Glazed Oyster, Walmer Argenta Maple and Manhattan Natural Walnut has a captivating quality.
