Think you’re resilient? Baycrest seniors’ positive attitudes win during power outage. On the evening of Monday, July 8, 2013 an unprecedented torrential downpour hit Toronto. As a result, The Terraces of Baycrest was flooded and left without power. Top officials from Baycrest Health Sciences led a Trade Mission to Asia in November at the request of the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation. The mission brought Baycrest to the table with dozens of businesses in Singapore and Japan, selling the capabilities of consortium members in order to bring business to Ontario.
