One of our growers Rob Kreuk in green shows us his new irrigation system. After a tractor takes the sprayer across the field the computer in the spool tracks how much water is being sent out and periodically "rolls up the hose" to bring the sprayer back across the field. Some growers use big water broadcast guns which require higher motor RPMs to get enough pressure. This one uses less RPMs and therefore less fuel! Daffodil 'Firebrand' (left) registered in 1897 shows what many of the very old heirloom daffodils looked like many years ago. In the early 1900s that changed and hybridized began to hybridize for the look that is more familiar today like this yet to be named seedling (right). #bulbchat #Gen4Duo
