Le griffon, bourguignotte - Musée de l'Armée
Cette bourguignotte, casque militaire,dite au griffonest l’un des rares éléments conservés d’un harnois de parade réalisé vers 1540-1545. Elle est attribuée à Giovanni Paolo Negroli. Son destinataire, un Valois ou un Médicis, reste inconnu à ce jour. Le décor est caractéristique du maniérisme et du goût pour les défenses de tête aux formes fantastiques. Les techniques du repoussé et du ciselé sont employées comme pour la célèbre armure aux lions, attribuée à François Ier.
