Book Awards
Each year there are many book awards given out for outstanding works of both fiction and non-fiction, both at home and abroad. Here are some of the contenders for various awards (the Scotiabank Giller Prize, the Man Booker Prize, the Hugo Awards, the Edgar Awards, etc.) held by the Cape Breton Regional Library. Note: the Atlantic Book Awards for books from and about the Atlantic Provinces are featured on a separate Atlantic Book Awards board.
