Think we forgot about pizza day?! Feb.9th is THE day. We've made our list: - Focaccia with fresh thym, rosemary and parmesan - Cherry tomatoes & Basil - Vegetarian - Mediterranean inspired, with a twist: Zaatar! - Prosciutto & Aragula - Fall inspired with fresh bocconcini instead of shredded mozza - Italian style with spicy calabrese and olives - Chicken: We know, debatable...but I promise with a bit of Portuguese piri piri, it changes EVERYTHING. - Vegan meat and soya-based fauxcheese.
The Key to Making Fresh Pizza
This is our "Pizza Automnal", translated to Fall Pizza and it is inspired by the harvest season. Everyone has toppings they CRAVE for. We like this one for its sweet & salty vibe. Ingredients: Cherry tomatoes, apples, prosciutto, bocconcini and fresh basil on top of our family's tomato sauce recipe. The key to doing pizza the right way? Fresh ingredients! Fresh basil over dried basil. Fresh tomatoes over canned tomatoes. It makes all the difference.
