Road trip!

Hello, PEI!

Outside, the weather is changing quickly… it seems that we were just seeking shade from the hot sun, and now, there is ice and frost. The morning is beautiful when it is covered with tiny crystals of ice. The lake freezes over in a geometric pattern. Mother Nature is the best designer!

We were lucky enough to spend a few days at our friends’ Malibu beach house. Mystic beauty

The seasons are getting ready for change: we went from a heatwave to a coolwave, overnight. I live surrounded by nature, and there’s a beautiful tranquility about. My breathing slows, I am relaxed. I love being so close to wilderness and the inspiration i draw from it. This is home. #ClaireDesjardins #AbstractPainting #AbstractArt #AbstractArtist

As an artist, I’m drawn to visual beauty. When we found our home, we fell in love with the natural surroundings. In the summer, we spend time in this screened-in porch, overlooking the lily pond, enjoying meals, listening to birdsong.
