One of our favorite makers Derry at derry_woodworking demonstrates how he cuts the live edge wood to fit in our 12" diameter x 2" deep ultra durable, extra thick silicone maker mold! These molds are perfect for epoxy resin, concrete and more.
We partnered up with Tammi Woods (@lonepalmcreates on Instagram) to create this instructional video on how she makes her beautiful resin encased succulent tables using the 12" and 18" CraftedElements.com silicone maker molds. Tammi goes through the entire process from laying down the first layer of rocks and succulents, multiple resin fills and layers, final sanding, and the attachment of metal hairpin legs to create the final product.

The 29x23x4" formed polyethylene mold is an ideal size for small tables like end tables, coffee tables and even bathroom vanity tops. If you are looking for a slightly smaller mold we highly recommend cutting pieces of 1.5" thick HPDE plastic (or screwing two or three 3/4" pieces together) to create a spacer to create a void that resin will not fill in.
