Dal Vadas - Yellow Split Pea Fritters (Whole30)
Dal Vadas, a popular street food in India, are these savory, spiced, crispy fritters that everyone loves and enjoys with a cup of tea. In different parts of India, these fritters are made using one or more varieties of lentils (most commonly with split chickpeas aka Chana Dal), spices and herbs. I have modified the traditional recipe to make it Whole30 compatible by using Yellow Split Peas (Matar dal) and added Spinach for some nutrition boost. This recipe is also Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-free, Dairy-free and Plant-based Whole30 compatible!
Easy, 5-ingredient, Whole30 Zucchini Fries
Zucchini is in peak season right now so run and go make these Zucchini fries. All you need is 5-ish ingredients and 10-15 mins of hands on time. Enjoy them as a snack, appetizer or side dish. They are incredibly fun and popular with the kiddos as well. Serve them alongside some Ranch (make sure it is Whole30 compatible if you are on a round) and get dipping! These Zucchini fries are Vegetarian, Dairy-free and Gluten-free.
Whole30 Shrimp & Peach Kabobs
You just need some Shrimp, a couple of Peaches and basic spices to make these spicy, juicy Shrimp and Peach Kabobs this grilling season. They are Whole30 compatible and you can serve them with some Cauliflower rice, a small side salad, roasted potatoes & sliced Avocado for a complete meal. While I used just shrimp and peaches in these kabobs, you can definitely add more veggies like rainbow bell peppers, asparagus, green onions, cherry tomatoes or even replace the peaches with pineapple. These kabobs are also Gluten-free, Dairy-free and Paleo-friendly.
Mango Peach Chutney
This delicious Mango-Peach Chutney is perfect for the summers when juicy Mangoes and Peaches are in season. It’s tangy, sweet and slightly spicy. Think of it as a relish, use it as a glaze when roasting your favorite proteins or enjoy it as an accompaniment with pork chops. My favorite way though is to enjoy this chutney in a Whole30 Chicken burger or in some spicy shrimp tacos, yum! It's Whole30, Vegan, Gluten-free and Dairy-free.

Vegan, Whole30 Basil Pesto
During summers, when your basil plant is being extra generous, make a big batch of Pesto to last you all year long. This version is Vegan and Whole30 compatible, as I used Nutritional Yeast instead of the usual Parmesan cheese. Instead of pine nuts (which I find are outrageously expensive), I use walnuts but almonds, pistachios or cashews also works. For a nut-free option, try sunflower seeds. This is the only way you are going to want to make roasted potatoes from now on! Follow the instructions in the recipe and you will be surprised by how crispy they turn out. Added to that, the green chutney (cilantro-mint chutney), ground cumin, smoked paprika just take them to the next level. Whole30 Sweet Potato & Chicken Patties
These Whole30 compatible, GF & DF Sweet Potato & Chicken Patties are great to meal prep and then enjoy all week for breakfast kunch or dinner. To make these patties, all you need is some ground chicken, a sweet Potato, an egg, some spices & herbs. Occasionally, I love to also sneak in kale or spinach for some extra nutrition. If you are not a fan of ground chicken, you can substitute it with ground turkey. I love pairing these with Ranch dressing but use any aioli or even guacamole.
