Xian is a Chinese artist living in Sydney. The ‘China China’ series included approx 40 porcelain bust all painted by Chinese artisans. I was drawn to this piece for the obvious decorative element and I love the Chinese blue and white porcelain. The busts are all casts of real people, many Xian’s friends and families.
