When the clients requested a dramatic makeover of their Main Bedroom and Bathroom in the traditional golf course community of Serrano, El Dorado Hills, we went for an update that introduced clean lines, natural colors, and layers of textures.

Sultry and Organic En Suite - Design for Living
Furniture Design has become one of our favorite parts of the design process. For this large main bedroom, we designed a custom channeled velvet headboard scaled to the height of the high ceilings. The bed is flanked by large bedside tables in a dark alder with brass accents and topped with alabaster sconces. We created a seating area in the bay window niche with rich leather club chairs and enlarged the fireplace, then finished the fireplace surround in plaster.

We began planning this bedroom and bathroom remodel in October of 2023 and wrapped up construction in May of 2024. Projects like this can take almost a year from start to finish, depending on how often the client is available to meet during the design process, how far out the contractor is booking to begin construction, and how long it takes to get all the materials. Our goal is to have everything designed, ordered, and scheduled out before starting demo so your home is upended for the shortest period possible.

Ready for the transformation of our recently completed Main Bedroom & Bathroom remodel in Serrano, El Dorado Hills? The clients wanted a complete overhaul of their traditional and dated en suite but to retain the character and color palette of the rest of the house.
