Inside the Texas Theatre where Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested at 1:50 P.M. on November 22, 1963 for the murder of Dallas police officer J.D. Tippett. He was taken into custody and questioned about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Two days later, Oswald would be assassinated by Jack Ruby in the garage of Dallas Police Headquarters as he was being transferred from the county to the city jail.

Update: Nobody will see this famous 'X' marking the spot of the assassination, repainted each year by local conspiracy theorist Robert Groden. It's been covered over by civic authorities for the 50th anniversary commemoration. Are they looking for closure, absolution, or is it just blind bureaucracy? www.lberger.ca
