Dior Cruise 2025 Show

Unveiled at Drummond Castle, Dior Cruise 2025 by Maria Grazia Chiuri celebrates the House’s associations with Scotland. Tartans were cut in artisanal Harris Tweed® or given punk takes, photo prints recalled the show Monsieur Dior gave at nearby Gleneagles Hotel in 1955, and embellished dresses evoked the Mary, Queen of Scots. The runway also revealed creative collaborations with artist Polyanna Johnson, knitwear specialists ESK and Johnstons of Elgin, as well as eponymous garment maker Le Kilt.

From a distance they could be mistaken for fine metallic knits, but up close brought the stunning realization that a series of Dior Cruise 2025 evening dresses by Maria Grazia Chiuri were made instead of fine meshes of minuscule beads, slinking sinuously over the body and accentuated with embroidered ruffles or lace insets. © Trisha Ward

Amid the primarily dark palette of the Dior Cruise 2025 collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri presented on the runway in Scotland, lighter notes came in the form of flower embroideries, beaded blouses, pearl-accented golden charm jewels, and the lacy knits loosely reinterpreting traditional patterns.
