Halloween wedding inspiration: 13 gorgeous – and spooky – wedding ideas
When I saw this, I knew that my search for my bouquet was over. I planned on using my personal besom for the broom jump (lift) anyway, so now I will be carrying it with me. I put black rooster feathers, peacock feathers, roses made from book pages, and ribbon that matches our handfasting cords. This is an awesome idea; but I'd still like a flower bouquet!
I LOVE THIS. Having empty chairs across from the bride and groom is a Scandinavian tradition. The signs aren't necessary, guest just know that they are invited to come and chat. This is a simple way to take the pressure off of the bride and groom to do a receiving line or make it around to every table to greet everyone. This way the newlyweds can actually sit and enjoy the meal and it's up to the guests to say hello.
