I cannot tell you enough about how incredible this falafel was. I love how simply they are made in Syria and honest to god you don’t need to overcomplicate it with all those herbs and spices, they are perfect just as Imad has made them. You can also try them yourself at his restaurant (Imads Syrian kitchen)! (MAKES 40) 500g DRIED chickpeas, soaked for at least 14 hours 4 garlic cloves ½ onion, roughly chopped or quartered 1 tsp garlic powder 2 tbsp ground coriander 1 tbsp ground cumin ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda 1 tbsp salt 50g sesame seeds 100 - 130ml room temperature water oil, for deep-frying Full recipe in the link below!
