If I was starting my first cut flower garden this year, I would grow… 1. Dahlias 2. Sunflowers 🌻 3. Zinnias 4. Cosmos 🌸 5. Snapdragons 6. Yarrow 7. Basil 8. Scented Geraniums 9. Amaranth Sunflowers, zinnias, cosmos, basil, and amaranth are all flowers that are fairly easy to germinate from seed 🌱. Dahlias are typically grown from tubers. Basil, snapdragons and yarrow are smaller seeds, but are fairly easy to germinate. I recommend buying scented geraniums at your local plant nursery. Scented geraniums are one of my favorite bouquet fillers and add an incredible scent and unique greenery to your bouquets.
