Integrating Culture into the Brand

There were people out there who told me to stray away from any cultural or religious aspects for my business because it will hinder my growth. They were right, and I knew it then, but then I would’ve been just another personalized blanket brand. Nearly half of my orders are for my signature designs, these designs are not only exclusive to my shop but they’re concepts/themes I have not seen anywhere else. MORE THAN HALF of my orders include a non-English language, which tells me that, like me, there are others who want cute, trendy items, but also want to hold on to their roots.

It's Our Birthday!

Her Sun & Stars Co. turned ONE! (on June 30 😅 - but Adobe crashes happen!). One year; despite being in a pandemic and being stuck at home, it went so quickly. In this year, my life has changed so much and I have grown so much as well. I want to thank so many people but caption character limits are a very real thing, so I will thank in a more… overarching way. Thank you to those who believed in me, the ones who said that it didn’t matter what brand I was starting, they knew it would succeed because I was behind it. Thank you to those who said they wanted to invest! Thank you for those who comforted me when I was anxious, forewent their own life to help build mine, and supported me in every way possible.
