Animal proteins that are safe to eat with alpha-gal syndrome. While people with alpha-gal cannot eat mammalian meats, they can eat eggs, poultry -- like chicken, duck, and turkey -- fish, and seafood. Foods that are good sources of vegan proteins are also alpha-gal friendly. Some alpha gals cannot tolerate dairy products which rules out products made with cow's milk, goat's milk, and sheep's milk. Otherwise, dairy products are another animal protein safe for alpha gals.
