Project Dragon was a multiplayer sandbox action-adventure that was in the making at Phoenix Labs. Picture something like Minecraft meets Breath of the Wild sprinkled with some elements from games like Stardew Valley, set in a universe not based on any existing IP. We got to contribute a lot of concepts, 3D environment assets, props, and 3D characters work over the course of 3 years. Sadly, the game was canceled a short while ago. “2019 Forest :)”

For this piece I wanted to branch out and start making the creatures I have in my scenes move around a bit. I'm by no means a professional animator but it was great to get them rigged and see them moving in the scenes a bit. I'm planning on bringing this part of the pipeline into the other creature I have going forward. :)

This is my take on Paul Trochu's Sanctuary, created for the Artstation Challenge: Untamed! When Animals Ruled the World. As I was working on this scene I wanted to put a bit more emphasize on the autumn feel and provided the scene with a optimistic tone. I imaged little frogs coming here, offering flowers to their lost king who is surrounded by his lost friends.
