I'm doing this a little bit differently. I'm doing an airbrushed background which I haven't done with some of my dips yet. So, I really wanted to try it out and see if I could give it a more abstract floral look with some leaf or grass-looking backgrounds with my greens. So, I just have a small wood surface that I'm working on and I have two shades of green that I put down and then I'm just using airbrush to blow them out. Since I'm doing smaller puddles, I'm just using some pipes to help control where my paint is going and how much I'm putting down and I just have some shades of purple and a little bit of pink and some gold I wanted to keep these dips a little bit smaller. So, I made I blew up my Nitrial glove but I made a much smaller surface area with the glove that I was using to dip into the paint and so I was creating much smaller flowers and they turned out really, really pretty They really have that beautiful abstract flower look to them and I think picking the purple to use for these turned out really nicely. You could definitely try this with balloons. Um it's very small balloons and see what kind of shapes you can get. Like I said, I blew up a smaller portion of the glove and just held it a little bit differently to just have a smaller dipping surface and so my flowers stayed nice and small. They're probably about a third of the size of what I normally make for my dips.

Using Balloons to Paint Abstract Butterflies | butterfly | Using Balloons to Paint Abstract Butterflies | By Amanda's Designs | In today's video, I'm doing a split color dip technique. I have an eight inch by twenty-four inch canvas and I really like working on these. Um they're nice and skinny and but you can get some really good detailed designs in these smaller canvases. I have a variety of colors mixed up with Sergeant Art Gloss Medium and water. I use about two parts medium to one part paint and then I slowly add water until it's the consistency that I want for pouring and I have a really light purple and white that I used for the base coat and I split the canvas so that half is purple and half is white and then for my dips, I have some gold, pink, and some other shades that I'm going to be using to do my dips. So, I have a variety of lighter colors and darker colors to really pop against that pale purple and white background. Once I have my puddles down, I just take one of my nitrial gloves and blow it up and just gently dip it right into the middle of my puddle and it creates a really pretty flower shape and sometimes a butterfly shape in your paint and this is just one style I really really enjoy doing and those colors dried really well and looked great against that lighter color background.

Happy Painting! | By MollysArtistry | Hi everyone. it's Molly. These are just a few of some fun ideas to do with acrylic, pouring and fluid art. This one is called a ring pour and a technique that I love to do is to take some type of utensil and string it through the paint, creating what I call a wrecked ring pour. The design comes out just amazing almost looks like it could be the pattern on a scarf or on clothing. I am using paints and a pouring medium this time so that I can have a thicker design so that I can hold the rings the way they are. This one was such a fun design. I started with a ring pour. And I'm just working on a circular piece of wood, then I wreck it now. I'm taking Amsterdam, Titanium, white paint and water and the reaction that I get from the paint. plus this paint and water is just amazing. When I blow, I'm creating a little bit of tension over the base, paint and the white paint starts sinking through because it's heavier and what ends up happening are these amazing creative cells and once you stretch them out, they become absolutely gorgeous. How fun is that? And the colors and the lacing, it's just amazing. This was a piece I did close to Halloween and I loved the candy corn colors that I used. It was again another wrecked ring pour. I think probably the second or third one I had ever done and man did it come out just amazing. Now, all you do after you pour your ring pour and wrecked it a little bit is tilt it out and the design just creates itself. How satisfying is it to watch the paint roll over the edges? I just love it. This was one of my favorites. And it's gone now in another happy home. I hope you enjoy. Happy Painting!
