Letters To Kenya: Learning about the world is an important aspect of growing up, and what better way to learn but from students in another country! I did a lesson plan on writing letters to Kenyan students with my K class, and they loved it. We began with the world map and located Kenya, we then looked at photos of schools and children in Kenya, we created some play toys that they use, we made a mind-map of questions we would like to ask, and then wrote letters. This lesson took two classes.
