Hello! Today I have fun, colorful, birthday cards to share with you. I thought it would be fun to try to stencil with Glossy Accents! I taped my cardstock down to my work surface and then taped the stencil over top using blue painter's tape. The more contact you have between the stencil and cardstock the better. You don't want the glossy accents to spread underneath the stencil. When it did it made a mess and ripped the paper when I removed the stencil. I found that applying some glossy…

I'm really into jewelry lately. And like a good DIY'er, I figured out how to make customized necklace pendants myself. It was super easy. I'm not sure why I didn't do it before now. I started out with these blank pendants from Hobby Lobby, and cut this scrap of patterned paper down to fit inside the pendant. You can also gently tap the underside of the paper to flatten the paint dots if you want rounded…

Good morning SCT readers! I’m back today to share a fun Glossy Accents technique. This is really great when you want to slightly alter an image by leaving a portion white. The Glossy Accents work as a resist and seal the color beneath protecting it from other inking treatments. Instructions...

So - last month - we made icicles. I remember seeing this at convention a few years ago - and thought what a great idea!!! All you need is some waxed paper, some Crystal Effects and some dazzling diamonds glitter. Using the crystal effects just make a strip of it along the waxed paper, then add the little icicle drips coming down. Sprinkle with the Dazzling Diamonds glitter (both Stampin' Up! products), and let dry 1 hour to 8 hours depending on the humidity. Gently remove the icicles from…
