Here is the farm house kitchen cupboard, a fairly usual style in the early Twentieth Century. That is evidenced by the woof green flour bin and sifter. At least you can tell when you are running down on flour. That would still make a lot of sense in a modern kitchen when a lot of cooking goes on. Other items include legumes and rice on top. This thing was a beast! I had to strip year's of paint off of it (as you can see from the pictures, it was a mess!!), but I was able to bring it back to it's original color, use the orginial hardware and also make it functional again. All of the hard work was worth it in the end!!

Bob finished-up the refinish job on this Hoosier just a couple weeks ago and it looks gorgeous. It's a 1916 model and was probably a Hoosier "White Beauty" when it was made -- with the oak painted over in white. He's now calling it a Hoosier "Wonder" in the red-oak, factory-style refinish.
