In recent years i bought a couple of M7s and MPs, the 5D Mark II, the Nikon D700 and only recently the D800 - i even owned two different Leica M9. Except for the D700 i sold all of these cameras after only a short time (mostly at a loss)- And then there's my M6 and the Cron 35. I got both 7 years for only a fraction of what they are worth today. 95% of the images i show in exhibitions or publications were done with this combination.

This is an interesting combo from @pautonn - A Leica M6 with the terrific little 40mm Summicron. For those who don't know the reason this is a little unusual is because there are actually no 40mm framelines with the M6. Instead it brings up those for the 50mm. Anecdotally the 35mm framelines suit better and many modify the lens mount to help achieve this. Another way can be by manually manipulating the the frames selector lever so it stays on 35mm. However at the end of the day it depends…
