The walled section of Panama City known as Casco Viejo was founded in 1671 after the pirate Henry Morgan destroyed the older Panama Viejo townsite. Today it is a mix of crumbling buildings and beautifully restored structures. This photo was taken on a walking tour of Casco Viejo as part of a shore excursion with Princess Cruise Lines.
