A pack of sabertooth Smilodon attacking a prehistoric bison latifrons. Aside from the fact that extinct Smilodon are believed to have been ambush predators, the artist has created a highly dramatic scene.

Dimetrodon

After visiting a famous nature park/reserve in Sweden and seeing Wisents, an animal that used to be found in the wild here but was hunted to extinction, and now once again reintroduced to the wild, I felt inspired to add them to my hobby project. They´re amazing animals and a good kind of heavy/dangerous game to hunt even from horseback. Their scale is exaggerated for effect.
