ESCAPE INTO EDO Autumn/Winter 2024 Introducing my latest collection of luxury scarves, Escape into Edo.  This collection visually references the arts and culture of Edo period Japan (1615-1868). One of the key influences for these works was Ukiyo-e, a genre of richly detailed woodblock prints. The story is set during Tango No Sekku (Boy’s Day festival), which falls on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunisolar calendar, a celebration reaching far back to the feudal days of old Japan...
