The St. Louis Cathedral Basilica is one of the best examples of Romanesque architecture on the outside and Byzantine architecture on the inside west of the Mississippi. Moon rising over the St. Louis Arch at Dusk. I just finished shooting a fantastic sunset and turned the opposite direction to face the Arch and this amazing moon was huvering over the Arch. The orange glow is from the reflection of the sunset. This is one of those shots you get by being in the right spot at the right time.

Today, the Gateway Arch is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the U.S.
