Description This is a quick reference guide that I created for people who wish to know my color mixtures, or for those who just want to know some colors that can be used for skin tones. These are my base colors, and depending on the lighting, I also add other colors such as blues, greens, oranges and reds, and of course pinks. It all depends on the color of the lighting, of course. "The colours I use for darks are 2 complimentary colors, Burnt Sienna & French Ultramarine is a classic mix. I sometimes use Winsor Green & Permanent Alizarin Crimson or Quinacridone Gold & Winsor Violet, any of these combinations make really rich darks. Just remember to add a lot more water for nice greys and more pigment for really rich and colourful darks, also try to let the colours mix on the paper not on the palette.
