this is a poem i wrote in 2004...i'm healing now. i'm not sure there will ever be a time i don't feel the sting of infertility but the pain is not as severe as it used to be on a daily basis. i came across this when i was packing and just wanted to share. there are a few women i talk to here on flickr that i know will understand this...i'm sorry that they know this pain. you ladies are in my heart, thoughts and prayers ALWAYS! ♥

I feel like I have to laugh to make it through the tough times. It is usually the only thing that gets me through. I have saved a few of my favorite ecards and some inspirational quotes and I thought I would share.

My hubby is unable to be present during my pregnancy or the birth of our son due to his deployment in Afghanistan. He sent me a photo of himself on his knees and I took a photo of myself by the tree in our front yard with the yellow ribbon tied around it. With the help of my neighbors and their Photoshop expertise, we were able to make this beautiful photograph. I miss my husband more than anything and I look forward to being reunited with him this fall as we welcome our son into this…
