Pyramid Quilt Pattern and Variations

Simple 60° Triangles (equilateral triangles) can be used to make stunning quilts. One of the most common is called Pyramids or Thousand Pyramids. Other common names are Triangular Triangle, Streak of Lightning, Zig Zag, Land of Pharaoh, Lightning, Wild Geese and Rail Fence. (Beyer 409-7, 409-8, 409-10, and 428-12.)
