Zenyatta--saw her race in California. Magnificent. She kicked it into 4th gear in the last turn of the race and without even breathing heavily galloped past the 4 horses ahead of her.

Secretariat. Perhaps the greatest race horse ever to hit the track. And a smart one. William Nack said he saw Secretariat watch a plane cross the sky one day. The great ones are usually very smart.
