I still have my Baby Beans doll...just like this! I rubbed the tag on her (it was soft like satin) like other kids would rub the edge of their blankets to fall asleep. My *awesome* great grandma would regularly sew a new piece of ribbon on to replace the worn tag.

BABY BEANS- She was one of my favorites! Tragically, she sprung a bean leak in her crotch, and I proceeded to shove a bean up my right nostril. The entire neighborhood listened to my death wails as my father used a pair of tweezers the size of a post digger to perform the necessary extraction. Some emergency room staff members should thank their lucky stars my dad is a DIY kind of guy!
