One of the coolest digital camera accessories that I’ve come across lately is the White Balance Lens cap. Rather than having to carry a Grey Card around with you or relying on post production to get White Balance right, you simply switch your camera into white balance mode and take a photo with your lens cap still attached. Doing this tells your camera what kind of light you’ve got in the scene in front of you so it can make the perfect adjustment to take well balanced shots in that location.
Just print off any picture you want, then spray paint a piece of wood black, cut the picture to match the size of the wood. Using Mod podge coat the wood then lay the picture on top. Once it has dried thoroughly, use sandpaper to rough up the edges, then put a layer of mod podge over the picture. paint some eye hooks and use pretty ribbon as a hanger and voila
diy rubics cube All you need are 6 matte finish photographs and some adhesive. I used a Xyron machine with repositionable adhesive to make it easy. Matte or lustre finish images are important since glossy shows every fingerprint when the recipient plays with the cube. 1. Measure the dimensions needed to cover an individual square (these were slightly larger than 3/4 inches square).
