This is a fun, hands-on culminating activity for the Grade 1 Ontario Science Curriculum: Materials, Objects & Everyday Structures. Students will design and build their own playground structure. I have included the materials we used, a marking rubric, and pictures of finished projects from my classroom. My students LOVED this project!
