DIY Porch Potty: all materials purchased at Lowes. Total cost $48. Started with tray made for clothes washer. Frame was built from 2 standard cedar fence boards. First we drilled drain holes in the tray. (Mine are drilled down one side to run off my patio into a flowerbed below.) Placed frame on tray, filled with bag of gravel, then I put down a piece of weed blocker felt, one and 1/2 bags of soil for sod/grass, trimmed 1 piece of sod to fit.
