a scrappy batik, stack and slash quilt I made. 10 inch squares, stacked 6 at a time, sliced once from top to bottom at 2 inches angled to 3 inches from corner, then restacked so each matches a different fabric, sew each set together, then press and restack, slash the same way but on the adjacent side, restack so no same colours touch, sew together... experiment, every block is different, trim all to a uniform size, piece blocks, make quilt.
