Crowsnest Lake, Crowsnest Pass, Alberta. Canada. The Crowsnest Pass is a high mountain pass that runs across the Continental Divide in the Southern Canadian Rockies. It spans the Alberta/British Columbia and lucky for us, this lake is 10 mins from our house.

Eileanan Brèagha Vineyards in Marble Mountain is the first and only estate winery on Cape Breton Island. Situated on a 200 acre property overlooking the beautiful Bras d’Or Lakes, this well-established vineyard has been producing high quality, award winning grapes since the early 1990s. 2014 is the first year they are producing their own wines and I want to share that I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to partake in a pre-opening taste and it's was fantastic!

Sri Pada (also known as Adam's Peak), Sri Lanka. This ancient pilgrimage attracts all faiths, all ages, local and tourists alike. All of whom take the plunge and climb over 5500 stairs to the top. This image depicts the spectacular view when summiting at sunrise.

Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary, near Sandakan, in the state of Sabah, East Malaysia. Sepilok was founded in 1964 and was the first official oranguran rehabilitation project designed to rescue orphaned baby orangutans from logging sites, plantations, illegal hunting or kept as pets. The orangutans are trained to survive in the wild & released when ready.

Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) aircraft over South Ari Atoll, Maldives. The de Havilland Twin Otter, DHC-6 is a highly manoeuvrable, versatile aircraft that is operated around the globe. From the jungles to the deserts, from the Arctic to the Antarctic, this rugged airplane can be flown on wheels, skis or floats and this is why Brian enjoys flying them ever so much!

Mount Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo. Mount Kinabalu is the highest mountain in the Malay Archipelago. At it's summit (Low's Peak) it stands at a height of 4,095 meters or 13,435 ft above sea level. If you choose to do the hike over two days you can sleep at the Laban Rata Resthouse which is over 10,700 ft.
