I choose to be vegan because I hate the taste and feel of animal products. I still support scientific research that involves animal subjects, in fact I do stem cell research. I don't support cruelty towards animals, but I don't think I am doing anything for them by being vegan. Vegan does not mean animal rights activist. This is stupid.
