Here’s how I did it ⬇️ 1- I took an IKEA Billy bookcase and made a riser out of scrap wood. You can use any cabinet that is narrower than the width of the nook. To cover the gaps, I screwed scrap wood from the inside of the cabinet and put MDF strips on top. 2- add floating shelves using 1x2 pine and 1/2 plywood. 3- sand, prime and paint the cabinet.
