The Dragonaxi Challenge YA Book Review
I found myself rooting for Marella, the underdog and likeable protagonist, in The Dragonaxi Challenge, by Leslie E. Heath. A supaerisi (mermaid), and a newbie to The Dragonaxi Challenge, while others have trained years for it, Marella is unprepared and the stakes are high. Heath superbly creates a beautiful and dangerous underwater world and the creatures that inhabit it. I will will read book 2 of this duology to find out how Marella trains her sweet dragon Hakkan. A highly recommended read.
