In the late 1980's, Wallace McCain made the decision not to use genetically engineered potatoes in any McCain Foods Canada products. This policy in still in place today!

During the 1970’s, McCain Foods Canada sponsored a hockey team aptly named the Potato Kings. Although they never made it to the championships, their hairstyles changed the game forever.

Why send our produce down to the US just to be frozen and shipped back? That was the thinking behind Wallace and Harrison McCain's decision to build their company in their hometown of Florenceville, New Brunswick. 55 years later and it's still the French Fry Capital of the world!
FIRE!!! Flames broke out at the McCain facilities in Florenceville, New Brunswick on Decemeber 31, 1989. Luckily no one was hurt and repairs were made quickly!
McCain bought it's first computer in 1969. It only took us 44 years to pin a photo of it!

McCain Foods Canada entered the information age in 1966 with this mechanical punch card system. In this photograph, Marion is learning how to set up her Facebook profile, change her relationship status to 'It's complicated' and post some inspiring photos of kittens.
