Not this year. For this rainbow flower pounded (Tatakizome) project, I used all florals grown in my very own garden. They included: Pansies Violas Cosmos Coreopsis Japanese indigo Dyer’s chamomile Hopi amaranth Sage Basil I pretreated a 100% cotton dish towel with a soy milk and water mixture (1:4 ratio for 24 hours, let dry, dip, let dry, dip, and let dry.) I’ll heat press this with an iron and then wash gently to see how the colors hold. Or maybe I just hang it up as a piece of art? Who knows 😅 Would you try this?"
