Now I didn't do this exactly the same way, but it's close! Instead of going through the hassel of building a trunk I painted one in the corner of their room. But instead of all the other painted trees I've seen, like this one pictured, I took the leaves up to the ceiling. :) Everyone that comes in the girl's room ohhhh and ahh! It makes for a great focal point and a playful environment.
