CAO Italia. A great cigar smoked at the wrong time of day. Breakfast and cigar is a great combination but a milder cigar is preferable in my opinion. A mild to bold cigar. Burned great. This tasted like spice and espresso but as the day goes on, my palet evolves so I'm sure it would have tasted differently later in the day. July 28 2015.
Por Larranaga Picadores. This is a lovely fairly mild Cuban cigar that has lovely tasting. Enjoyed with a delicious Dale's Pale Ale by Oscar Blues Brewery. The burns was virtually perfect throughout the cigar. It had a nice hint of tingling on the lips. With notes of black cherry and vanilla this cigar had a fantastic complexity on the palet. Shared with great friends on July 7th 2015.
Dirty Rat by Drew Estates. A dilectable earthy smoked. The burn was slightly uneven but had a great taste on the palet. A very eathy and espresso coffee taste. Another Drew Estates cigar very much enjoyed. July 4th 2015.
Post work cigar, I this so. Enjoying this delightful Royal Coronation Punch cigar on my deck with a delicious Caldera brewing IPA. This Punch is of mild to medium strength and is quite smooth. It has a lovely roast coffee taste with hints of pepper and earthyness. This lovely paletable cuban smoke was brought home by my roommate from Cuba. June 21 2015
This is what I call a nice night cap. The best budget friendly cigar, a Bravos green label, that doesn't compromise on the taste and a glass of Sledgehammer forged red. This cigar is mild but delivers in flavour. With hints of vanilla and nuttiness, this is a delightful smoke to the palet. June 21 2015
CAO Magdalana. From La Tienda June 2015 private selection. Enjoyed with a Big Swell IPA from Maui Brewing. This is a great cigar with a honduran, nicaraguan and colunbian blend of tobacco. Although it wasn't quite my style of cigar I really apreciated it. The burn on this cigar was perfect and the cigar got bolder the more you smoked. It had an earthy taste but this particular tobacco taste just didn't quite do it for me. June 12 2015
Fonseca #1 2009. From La Tienda's private selection for June 2015. This great mild smoke was enjoyed with a Hop Head IPA from tree brewing. I very much enjoyed this cigar. I smoked it at La Tienda with some great people. I found it to have a great tobacco with a hint of roasted coffee and butterscotch. June 10th 2015
Macanudo Maduro ascots. These are beautiful cigars, one of very few that are hand roled in this size. A lovely fairly bold smoke with prominant notes of dark chocolate and hints of black coffee. Enjoyed on my deck on May 27 2015
