Laundry--Design Ideas

Our future laundry room design ideas--for when we get our front load washer & dryer, and finally finish the basement! PLAN: to have a small laundry closet directly behind where we want to place the basement bar, that way the bar counters and sink can do double duty as a laundry sink and folding counter! Also, I would love pocket doors so I can hide (or leave open) the laundry closet as I like. The closet needs storage for 3 large laundry baskets, plus extra detergents & cleaners.

Put sink on same level as washer/dryer counter & add broom closet for sweeper, broom, dustpan & cleaning supplies (always have had a sink in laundry room& wouldn't want to eliminate it: too useful!). Eliminate drying rod & cabinets above sink.
